In what might be the funniest (and slightly terrifying) travel story of the week, a young boy managed to “cross” the U.S.–Canada border without even realizing it — all thanks to a revolving door.
According to a viral video, the child was innocently playing with the large metal turnstile at a U.S. border checkpoint. With one playful push too many, he suddenly found himself on the Canadian side.
Onlookers were shocked as the boy’s parents scrambled, realizing their son had technically just gone international without a passport, a visa, or even a backpack! Thankfully, border patrol officers quickly intervened, and the child was safely brought back to the U.S.
The incident sparked waves of memes online, with many joking:
- “Imagine explaining to immigration that you accidentally immigrated.”
- “This kid just unlocked international travel at age 6.”
While it’s clear no laws were broken and the boy was never in real danger, the moment shows just how close — and comically easy — it can be to “visit” another country when there’s only a revolving door in between.
