A shocking altercation outside a MedMen dispensary has gone viral after footage surfaced showing a store employee being struck in the throat during a heated confrontation with an aggressive customer. The video — which spread rapidly across social media under the title “MedMen Guy Gets Chopped in the Throat” — has left viewers stunned and sparked renewed conversations about violence against service workers.

The incident occurred in broad daylight outside one of the company’s urban storefronts. According to witnesses, the conflict began when a customer, frustrated by store entry policies, began arguing with staff near the entrance. The employee, wearing a red MedMen shirt and a face mask, attempted to de-escalate the situation, reminding the customer to follow standard procedures before entering.
