A shocking incident caught on home surveillance has left an entire neighborhood in disbelief after a landlord lost his life following a heated dispute with a tenant that turned violent.
The tragedy unfolded in Philadelphia, where 59-year-old landlord Thomas Bradley was reportedly checking on one of his rental properties when an argument with a tenant spiraled out of control. According to authorities, the confrontation began over unpaid rent and noise complaints that had been ongoing for several months.
Security footage from across the street shows Bradley standing near the entrance of the home, speaking with a man at the top of a short staircase. The conversation appeared tense but calm at first — until things escalated.
Witnesses say the tenant suddenly shoved Bradley backward, causing him to lose his balance and tumble down the concrete steps. The impact left him unconscious. Neighbors rushed to help and called 911, but by the time paramedics arrived, Bradley was in critical condition. He later passed away at the hospital due to severe head injuries.
Police quickly identified the suspect, a 32-year-old man whose name has not yet been released pending investigation. He reportedly fled the scene but was arrested hours later at a friend’s apartment.
