Disturbing bodycam footage has captured the moment police rescued a young child from a car after an intoxicated driver crashed into a large rock on the side of the road. The shocking video, released by the California Highway Patrol, shows officers responding to a scene that could have ended in tragedy.
According to officials, the incident occurred in broad daylight when a woman, later identified as the driver and the child’s mother, lost control of her vehicle and struck a rock formation along a rural road. Witnesses who saw the collision quickly called 911 after noticing that a small child was in the back seat.
