What started as a routine traffic stop quickly turned into one of the most chaotic chases the local sheriff’s department had seen in months — and it only got worse with every passing mile.
The pursuit began just after midnight when officers attempted to pull over a blue pickup truck for reckless driving on a rural highway. Instead of stopping, the driver slammed the accelerator, sending the truck roaring into the dark with patrol cars in hot pursuit.
Dashcam footage captures the tense scene as sirens wail through the night, headlights flashing across empty country roads. At first, officers assumed the driver might be intoxicated or panicking — but it soon became clear they were dealing with something far more serious.
As speeds reached nearly 100 mph, the suspect began swerving dangerously, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic.
