A 19-year-old’s night of partying took an unexpected turn when police were called after he was found unconscious outside a local establishment. Officers arrived to find the young man unresponsive and smelling strongly of alcohol — but what shocked them most was what they found in his wallet.
According to reports, the teen had been using a fake ID to buy alcohol at several nearby bars before eventually passing out in public. Concerned bystanders contacted emergency services when they couldn’t wake him up.
Bodycam footage shows officers checking his pulse and identifying him before realizing the ID didn’t match his real age. “This isn’t the first time we’ve seen one like this,” one officer remarked, holding up the phony license.
After regaining consciousness, the teen reportedly apologized repeatedly and admitted he “just wanted to have fun like everyone else.” Police say he was charged with possession of a fake ID and underage drinking, but was released to his parents later that night.
Authorities are using the incident as a reminder that fake IDs may seem harmless — but they can lead to serious legal trouble. As one officer put it, “It’s better to wait your turn than end your night in handcuffs.”
