Deputies in Florida were left speechless after a pregnant woman managed to escape custody โ€” not once, but twice โ€” all within the same day.

According to bodycam footage and official reports, deputies initially stopped the woman during a routine traffic check after noticing erratic driving. When they discovered multiple outstanding warrants under her name, she was taken into custody. But as officers prepared to transport her, the situation spiraled out of control.

Authorities say the woman suddenly bolted from the patrol car, sprinting across a parking lot despite being several months pregnant. Deputies chased her down, eventually catching up after a brief foot pursuit. But the story didnโ€™t end there.

Later that afternoon, while being processed at the county detention facility, she reportedly made another daring break for freedom โ€” this time slipping out of her restraints and running toward the exit before being tackled by officers.

โ€œItโ€™s rare to see someone try escaping twice in one day, especially under those conditions,โ€ said one deputy, noting that both incidents were caught on bodycam video. โ€œIt was a dangerous situation, both for her and everyone involved.โ€

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation before being transferred back into custody. Officials emphasized that she and her unborn child were not seriously injured during either attempt.

The case has since drawn public attention online, with many viewers expressing a mix of shock and concern. While some criticized her reckless behavior, others pointed out the desperation that might have driven her actions.

She now faces additional charges for escape and resisting arrest on top of her existing warrants โ€” but for officers on the scene, itโ€™s a day they wonโ€™t soon forget.
