Authorities have launched an investigation after a body was discovered inside a cooler near the shoreline of a local lake.
The discovery was made by a passerby who noticed the cooler in an unusual location and contacted law enforcement. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed that the cooler contained human remains.
The identity of the individual has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin and further forensic examination.
