Police thought they were dealing with a routine situation: a woman detained, calm, and cooperative — or so they believed.
But moments later, chaos erupted when the handcuffed woman somehow pulled a hidden gun and opened fire on the very officers who were trying to help take care of her dogs.
Bodycam footage shows the shocking moment officers backed away, scrambling for cover, completely caught off guard.
“We were trying to assist with her animals — then she pulled a weapon out of nowhere,” one officer reported.
The woman was quickly restrained again without further injuries, but the incident is now under serious investigation. Many are asking: how did she get the gun? And how was it missed during the initial search?
